Who we are
WayBuddy is a trip planner operated by VALORICE BV (see the Legal notice). Questions: info@valorice.be.
Your account
You need an account to plan trips. You can sign in with email and password, Google or Apple. Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Who can use WayBuddy
You must be at least 18 to buy. Users under 18 may use the free features only with a parent or guardian's involvement.
Plans and prices
- Explorer: free. Includes one active trip, basic planning, and a limited number of Guide questions a day. WayBuddy shows no ads.
- Trip Pass: €19.99 per trip, a one-time payment that does not renew. Paid features apply to the chosen trip until 30 days after the trip ends.
- Plus: €39.99 per year, renews every year until cancelled.
- Family Premium: €69.99 per year, renews every year until cancelled.
The Pricing page shows exactly what each plan includes.
Payments
On the website, payments are processed by Stripe. In the iPhone and Android apps, purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms; we use RevenueCat to confirm those purchases. A plan bought through one channel is recognised when you sign in with the same WayBuddy account elsewhere.
Cancelling a subscription
Website subscriptions can be cancelled in Profile. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period: you keep your plan until then, you are not charged again, and there is no refund for the current period. Your account then returns to the free Explorer plan. Subscriptions bought in the App Store or Google Play are managed and cancelled in your store account.
Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. For Trip Pass and subscriptions bought on the web, the 14 days start on the day you buy. To withdraw, use the Withdraw from contract page, or email info@valorice.be with a clear statement.
If you asked us to start the service during the 14 days and then withdraw, you pay a proportionate amount for what you already used, up to the moment you told us you withdraw. If you use the service in full during the 14 days, and you expressly agreed to this at checkout, you lose the right of withdrawal for what was fully delivered.
We refund within 14 days after we receive your withdrawal, using the same payment method. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund rules, and we cannot refund these ourselves.
Suggestions and the WayBuddy Guide
Itineraries, timings, travel times and Guide answers are suggestions generated with the help of AI and public sources. They can be incomplete or wrong. Suggested times are marked as suggestions. Always check opening hours, prices, bookings, entry rules and safety information with the official source before you travel.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it (for example for intent, gross negligence, or death and personal injury). Trip plans, distances, opening hours and safety information are suggestions; check them yourself before you go, especially for walking with children.
Your content
Trips, notes and photos you add remain yours. You allow us to store and process them only to provide WayBuddy to you and to the people you choose to share a trip with. Do not upload content you have no right to share.
Ending your account
You can request deletion of your account in Profile. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will announce material changes in the app or by email at least 30 days before they apply to your ongoing subscription. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they apply.
Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes go to the competent Belgian courts. If you are a consumer, this does not remove mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live, and you may also bring a claim in the courts of that country.
Disputes
Contact us first at info@valorice.be. Consumers in Belgium may also contact the Consumer Mediation Service (Belmed), North Gate II, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels, www.mediationconsommateur.be. The European online dispute resolution platform no longer exists.
